Zhao Wenhao: He is exploring to apply the nanomaterial analysis technology to Earth and Planetary Science
Zhao Wenwu is a postgraduate student in 2019 of State Key Laboratory of Lithospheric Evolution, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and participated in joint cultivation program of JITRI graduate students in September 2021. Under the joint guidance of researcher Li Qiuli, a supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and professor Hu Rong, a supervisor of Yangtze River Delta Institute of Advanced Materials, he has carried out the research of occurrence state of high-uranium zircon nano-scale uranium and its impact on micro-scale dating, depending on the advanced analysis and testing platform of Yangtze River Delta Institute of Advanced Materials, which filled the gap in the research direction of this interdisciplinary in China. During the cultivation, he has mastered experimental skills of three-dimensional atomic probe and focused ion beam scanning electron microscope, and explored to apply the three-dimensional atomic probe technology to solid earth science materials. Thanks to such joint cultivation, he was admitted to Brown University in February 2022 to study for a doctor's degree.
Yang Yutong: One of the first PhD students jointly cultivated by XJTLU and JITRI Materials Academy, who works to research and develop new die-casting aluminum alloy
Yang Yutong is one of the first PhD students jointly cultivated by XJTLU and Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Advanced Materials. In March 2021, she joined the Industrial Applied Materials Big Data team of JITRI Materials Academy. Under the guidance of Dr. Cheng Xiaonong, the industry mentor, she focuses on developing high-performance aluminum alloy and related application technologies with independent intellectual property rights, catering for urgent needs of domestic automobile companies to develop integrated high-pressure casting aluminum alloy parts. She has achieved phased results of the current research, has written and submitted a SCI paper and applied for an invention patent of high-performance aluminum-silicon alloy, supported by Major Project of Industrial Applied Materials Big Data of Jiangsu Industry and Research Institute, and its advanced testing and characterization equipment and strong data analysis.
