Characterization Platform


The Material Characterization Platform of Materials Academy, JITRI is a comprehensive science and technology service agency in the field of materials, certified with CMA, CNAS and NADCAP.

The Platform comprises five functional modules: element composition analysis, microstructure characterization, physical and chemical performance test, mechanical property test, and comprehensive product diagnosis. It directly supports major research and development teams and specialized research institutes to make technological breakthroughs, and is open to universities and enterprises in the field, satisfying the R&D requirements of material preparation, material processing and high-end product manufacturing. It is committed to becoming a one-stop, specialized, internationalized and integrated characterization platform in the material field.

The Characterization Platform has the analysis capabilities of element types, element chemical valence, element contents, thermomechanics, thermophysics, thermal simulation and residual stress, and is devoted to providing rapid and accurate testing of physical and chemical properties of materials.

Typical equipment includes: spark direct-reading spectrometer, X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, glow discharge high-resolution dual-focused magnetic mass spectrometer, scanning and focusing multi-function XPS system, thermal simulation testing machine, thermal analysis instrument, dynamic thermal mechanical instrument, thermal expansion instrument, laser thermal conductivity instrument and residual stress detection equipment.
